About Matsud-onym

Our mission is to provide solid strategic writing services, both on the page and on the web. A simple philosophy drives our work: communication must achieve a purpose, and content must precede design.
Diana MatsudaMatsud-onym is a sole proprietorship owned since 2006 by Diana Matsuda, an experienced communicator with over 30 years in public sector communications.

For 10 years before creating Matsud-onym, Diana managed the Canada-Saskatchewan Business Service Centre, part of a national network providing business information in every province and territory of Canada. In 2004, this national initiative was the recipient of a United Nations Award of Excellence. Diana also worked for the Government of Saskatchewan for 5 years, where she developed a considerable variety of marketing materials and honed her writing skills. Previously, she spent 13 years with Saskatchewan's Western Development Museums where she was a winner of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) Award of Excellence and the federal World Tourism Day Medal.

Diana has a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology and a Business Administration Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan. She has been an active volunteer over the years with various tourism and not-for-profit organizations. Currently she is an active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Parksville AM and, as a former Board member of the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association, is working on the establishment of an Alumni Branch in Parksville.
